Intel Analyst

SAIC is seeking an Intel Analyst to serve as a subject matter expert in the development, deployment, and sustainment of a National Security Space system. This role will be primarily based in El Segundo, CA, supporting the Horizon contract within the Space C2 Program Management Office. You will play a key role in the Space Systems Command's (SSC) Battle Management Command, Control & Communications (BMC3) Program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support systems architecting and engineering activities focused on threat awareness, force protection, mission planning, target development, and damage assessment.
• Manage intelligence and interface requirements, ensuring accurate verification and integration into the program.
• Provide intelligence support for planning, joint and multi-lateral training exercises, and strategic engagement policy.
• Contribute to the development of system engineering documents, including CONOPs, requirements definitions, and interface specifications.
• Support acquisition strategies development, identify program execution issues, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Assess contractor designs and milestone reviews to evaluate progress, risks, and ability to meet mission requirements.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience in:
  • Intelligence support.
  • Weapons systems acquisitions.
  • Supporting decision analysis.
• In-scope security background investigation (T5 or SSBI), adjudicated for SCI eligibility and enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation program (if applicable).
• Willingness to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), Special Access Programs, and to consent to a Polygraph examination.

Desired:

• Knowledge of Agile and/or DevSecOps development processes.
• Familiarity with systems engineering processes, tools, and techniques.
• Experience in National Security Space or Space Control mission areas.
• Experience working in a development environment or within a U.S. Government weapons system program office.

Target Salary Range:

• $120,001 - $160,000, based on experience and other factors.
