Orders Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise in identifying, developing, and prioritizing cyberspace operations requirements, processes, procedures, and directives.
• Maintain situational awareness (SA) of cyber incidents, the health, performance, availability, and reliability of the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN).
• Identify and manage issues affecting operations.
• Support the creation, dissemination, and compliance with orders and directives to the DOD community.
• Develop and modify capability requirements and concept documents based on the evolving environment for review, validation, and prioritization.
• Create and track USCYBERCOM Orders and Directives.
• Prepare and deliver operational update briefs and situational awareness reports.
• Participate and provide input for Command exercises.
• Process requests for new operational terms and manage the status of existing terms.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (3+ years in a related functional area).
• Certifications: DOD 8140/DOD 8570 IAM Level I, CSSP Incident Responder, or CSSP Infrastructure Support.
• Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Clearance:

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• US citizenship required.

Salary Range:

• $80,001 - $120,000, based on experience and other factors.

• SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters; however, customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when performing work at customer sites.

This role requires a combination of technical expertise, operational awareness, and strong communication skills to effectively support cyber operations for USCYBERCOM.
