Data & Analytics Manager

Job Description:

KPMG seeks a Manager to lead its Federal Data & Analytics team, driving value creation for federal clients through advanced analytics and data solutions. This role focuses on analytics strategy development, solution implementation, and team leadership within a client-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead teams to design and implement analytics solutions using tools such as Python, SQL, R, Alteryx, and SAS.
• Oversee data preparation activities, including cleansing, integration, and transformation for analysis.
• Engage with senior clients to convey the value of analytics and guide decision-making.
• Develop documentation, guides, and training for analytics tools and solutions.
• Identify opportunities to leverage analytics for client objectives and develop strategic execution plans.
• Manage project scope, establish timelines, delegate tasks, and ensure quality control.
• Provide mentorship, training, and oversight for technical team members.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • Minimum five years of technical data analytics experience.
  • U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferred.
• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Skills:
  • Proficient in data analytics tools: Python, SQL, R, Alteryx, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of governance, controls, data modeling, master data management, and data quality management.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and cross-functional teams effectively.
• Other Requirements:
  • Must possess or be eligible for a U.S. Government clearance.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for engagements.
