Job Position Overview:

The position involves a variety of human resources management responsibilities within the Air Force, focusing on advising managers and employees, analyzing organizational functions, and providing recruitment and personnel management support. Below are the specific duties and qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise and counsel managers and employees on complex personnel issues, utilizing OPM, DoD, AF, AFMC, and AFRL guidance.
  • Provide recommendations for position management and classification, especially for Lab Demo positions.
  • Analyze and determine eligibility and qualifications for DHA/EHA recruitments, and suggest staffing sources.
  • Assist in pay analysis by reviewing previous recruitment actions, Bureau of Labor Statistics, and AFRL-wide data.
  • Evaluate organizational structure, reorganization, and manpower shifts, offering recommendations for efficiency.
  • Collect, analyze, and present data on organizational workload to justify resource requirements.
  • Monitor staffing levels through HR databases and provide staffing guidance.
  • Advise on sensitive personnel matters, including adverse actions and separations.
  • Prepare and deliver briefings to management on personnel issues and studies.

Conditions of Employment:

  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.

Qualifications:

  • Required:

    • U.S. Citizenship.
